Walking into Mingxing Village, Chihe Town, Shiquan County, Shaanxi Province, I saw sericulture farmers selling silkworm cocoons, creating a busy scene. The sericulture industry is an important industry for promoting rural revitalization in Shiquan County. The local disciplinary inspection and supervision authorities, based on their functional responsibilities, closely monitor the performance of party members and cadres in the process of industrial development, strengthen supervision and inspection of policy implementation, and safeguard the development of the sericulture industry. Previously, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Shiquan County conducted an investigation into the issue of "Zhou, the deputy director of Xinhua Village Committee in Raofeng Town, long-term retention of silkworm egg payments" reflected in the audit transfer. They seriously investigated and dealt with Zhou's violation of discipline by retaining 18492.5 yuan of silkworm egg payments that should have been paid into the village collective account and underpaying 2920 yuan of collective economic advance payments during the period of being responsible for silkworm egg ordering. Finally, Zhou received a warning and disciplinary action within the party, and the remaining funds were fully recovered and transferred to the village collective economic account. To accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the sericulture industry, Shiquan County has formulated and issued a three-year action plan for the transformation and upgrading of the sericulture industry (2025-2027). The landing of a batch of new technologies, equipment, and projects such as intelligent co cultivation factories and unmanned aerial vehicle defense in mulberry gardens has become a key support for the transformation and upgrading of the sericulture industry in Shiquan County. The Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of the county have included the transformation and upgrading of the sericulture industry as a key focus of supervision, closely monitoring the bidding, fund utilization, acceptance and evaluation of key projects in the sericulture industry. They have collaborated with inspection agencies and audit departments to carry out joint supervision, strengthen responsibilities, promote rectification, and strictly investigate corrupt practices and corruption issues. In addition, the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Shiquan County have focused on the implementation of policies that benefit farmers, such as joint education rewards and subsidies and silkworm egg subsidies, which are of concern to the masses.
