The reporter learned from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region that recently, the "Smart Travel to Guangxi Health and Wellness Land -2026 Guangxi (Macao) Promotion Conference" hosted by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was held in Macao. At the meeting, Guangxi and Macau signed the "Guangxi Macau Esports+Cultural Tourism Development Cooperation Agreement", in which both sides will deepen the exchange of esports culture between Guangxi and Macau and jointly promote the integrated development of esports and cultural tourism. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in areas such as creating esports events in Guangxi, building an esports industry ecosystem, promoting esports cultural exchanges between Guangxi, Australia, and ASEAN, and promoting the integrated development of "esports+cultural tourism+sports" to jointly explore a development path for the esports industry that is in line with Guangxi's characteristics.
