The "Macau Night" event, hosted by the Macao SAR Government Tourism Office, was held in Madrid, Spain on the evening of the 21st. The "Macau Night" is an important part of the "Experience Macau" road exhibition held from the 17th to the 21st at the Plaza del Rey on the banks of the Manzanares River in Madrid. The road exhibition has set up 4 exhibition areas and 20 booths, showcasing Macau's traditional culture and promoting tourism resources to the local people through light shows, cultural and food interactive experience activities. In her speech, the Director of the Macao SAR Government Tourism Office, Maria Helena de Almeida, expressed her hope to showcase the new development of Macao through this event, build a platform for communication between the industry and the public, and establish a solid foundation for promoting cooperation in a wider range of fields. Chinese Ambassador to Spain Yao Jing expressed the hope that this event will serve as an opportunity to open a new chapter in cultural and tourism cooperation between the two sides.
