Hainan Recruits "International Tourism Recommendation Officers" Globally

The Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province announced on the 15th that from now until December, Hainan is recruiting "Hainan Tourism International Recommendation Officers" from around the world. The plan is to recruit 40 to 50 overseas experts who love traveling and are good at creating, showcasing Hainan's tropical island charm to the world from a unique perspective.
Applicants must meet the following conditions: be obsessed with Hainan's sunny beaches, Li Miao culture, fireworks and delicious food, and willing to share the beauty of Hainan with sincerity; Having accounts and influence on any overseas platform such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc; Proficient in using graphics, short videos, live broadcasts, and other forms to explore the unique charm of Hainan's cultural tourism industry; Willing to communicate and collaborate, willing to integrate into the team and tell the story of Hainan together.
As a frontier of China's opening-up to the outside world, Hainan continues to enhance its international attractiveness with the dual benefits of "visa free+air routes". At present, the visa free entry policy for personnel from 59 countries, combined with the 240 hour transit visa free policy, has made the "just leave" Hainan tourism a reality; 78 international routes connect 45 cities around the world, including Moscow and Sydney, forming a dense "golden airline network". By 2025, the number of inbound tourists to Hainan will reach 1.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 35.2%.
In recent years, Hainan has adhered to the dual approach of "going out+inviting in": precise overseas promotion to reach key source countries, normalized promotion of overseas travel agents and media inspections, and encrypted flights through the Hong Kong Macao marketing alliance; 46 Hainan tourism promotion offices around the world are simultaneously making efforts to systematically crack down on inbound tourism bottlenecks.
As of June 2026, the Hainan Tourism International Recommendation Officer team has covered 41 countries and regions, becoming an important force in telling the story of Hainan well. (Outlook New Era)
