Ning Hanhao introduced that the "North City Development Committee" is led by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the "Development and Operation Model Design Group" led by the Financial Secretary has conducted in-depth discussions on the division of labor and cooperation among various park companies. The 2026/2027 fiscal year budget of the Special Administrative Region government announced the injection of HKD 10 billion each into three companies responsible for the industrial land of Hung Shui Kiu, Hetao Hong Kong Park, and Xintian Science and Technology City, driving market resource investment and accelerating the development of related industrial land.
Ning Hanhao stated that the Hong Kong SAR government's goal for the Hung Shui Kiu Industrial Park is to make good use of the area's well-developed transportation network and its proximity to Shenzhen Qianhai, promoting high value-added and intelligent production, such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, advanced construction industries, etc., with diverse industry categories; The positioning of the Hetao Hong Kong Industrial Park is a world-class technology innovation hub, focusing on upstream and midstream links such as research and development, achievement transformation, and pilot testing; Xintian Science and Technology City is a natural extension of Hetao, which will provide prototype, pilot and mass production space for the transformation of research and development achievements, promote the landing of achievements, form upstream, midstream and downstream coordinated development with Hetao Hong Kong Park, and build a complete innovation and technology industry ecosystem.
