Mega cities are the main spatial carriers for population and industry aggregation in China, with high population and economic density. The comprehensive approval of the overall national spatial planning for mega cities marks the completion of the spatial blueprint for the future development of key cities in China. At present, the preparation and approval of the overall national land spatial planning at the provincial, municipal, and county levels have been basically completed, and the national land spatial planning work has entered the stage of comprehensive implementation. How to further upgrade the "Chinese speed" in a central mega city? What new opportunities will this bring to 22 mega cities?
