The initial prototype spacecraft is scheduled to make its maiden flight this year, and the final prototype spacecraft is planned to have factory conditions next year and be able to carry out space station cargo transportation missions. The light boat cargo spaceship was developed by the Institute of Micro Satellite Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a light, small and fast spaceship with "low cost, high reliability, high strain and high intelligence". The weight is about 5 tons, and the current upward transportation capacity is over 1.8 tons, while the downward transportation capacity is 2 tons. The loading capacity of the light cargo spacecraft is about 9 cubic meters, and the volume of the cargo compartment is 27 cubic meters, which can carry astronauts' daily necessities, scientific experimental equipment, scientific payloads, etc. The cabin adopts a four layer shelving mode, with a total of 40 cargo compartments. For special cargo requirements, corresponding interfaces are also reserved on the shelves. In order to further reduce the cost of cargo transportation of the China Space Station and improve the transportation efficiency, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Micro Satellite Innovation Research Institute and the rocket developer, China Science Aerospace, jointly carried out a joint demonstration of the integration of ship and rocket, and carried out integration work in structural design, test and launch process, measurement and control communication, and temporary launch loading scheme. Aiming at the requirements of spacecraft cold chain transportation, the launch process was optimized, and the integrated test of ship and rocket was used to simplify the test and launch process. The integrated single cabin configuration design, flexible configuration of large capacity cold chain transportation, intelligent cargo management system, and diversified transportation capabilities are the "hard core" characteristics of light cargo spacecraft, and its commercial operation mode is also worth looking forward to. The concept and technological means of introducing commercial aerospace into light cargo spacecraft. For example, for the first time, the business model of using a cargo transportation system to grasp the overall situation was adopted, which combined the transportation with the spacecraft more closely and achieved the overall optimization design of the system; Introduce commercial aerospace concepts, promote rapid iteration and application of new ideas, devices, and materials in the aerospace field, and generate good economic and social benefits.
