Among them, the core output value of the industry, including chips, devices, algorithms, software, navigation data, terminal equipment, infrastructure, etc. directly related to the research and application of satellite navigation technology, reached 169.9 billion yuan. The white paper states that with the rapid development of the Beidou industry, the annual number of satellite navigation patent applications in China continues to increase. The latest data shows that as of the end of 2024, the total number of satellite navigation patent applications in China has exceeded 129000, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%, continuing to maintain global leadership. In 2024, the application scale of the Beidou system will further increase. By the end of 2024, approximately 288 million smartphones in China will support Beidou positioning function, accounting for 98%; The public map software, based on the high-precision lane level navigation function of Beidou, has covered more than 99% of urban and rural roads in China. 11 major electronic map service providers provide location services more than 1 trillion times a day, with a total daily navigation service mileage of over 4 billion kilometers. The white paper shows that the services and related products of the Beidou system have been exported to more than 140 countries and regions, with continuously enriched application modes. The release of multiple international standards has further enhanced the international discourse power of the Beidou system. The white paper states that the next generation Beidou system and the national comprehensive space-time system will be completed before 2035.
