On June 4th, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense held the 23rd meeting of the Expert Working Group of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States' Defense Ministers' Meeting in Qingdao, Shandong. Representatives from SCO member states and the Secretariat attended. All parties have held consultations on the preparations for the 2025 SCO Member States Defense Ministers' Meeting and agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation to contribute to the organization of a productive Defense Ministers' Meeting. This is the third time that China has hosted the above-mentioned routine meeting since assuming the rotating presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. (New Society)
