On the 4th, it was learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the Ministry recently issued the "Action Plan for Computing Power Interconnection" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), aiming to accelerate the construction of a computing power interconnection system, achieve standardized interconnection of public computing resources with different entities and architectures, improve the efficiency and service level of public computing resources, and promote high-quality development of computing power. With the rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry and the increasing demand for global computing resources, the interconnection of computing power has become a focus of attention both domestically and internationally. The relevant person in charge of the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that, on the basis of the existing Internet architecture, the computing power interconnection is to standardize the interconnection of public computing resources of different entities and different architectures by building a unified computing power logo, enhancing heterogeneous computing and elastic network capabilities, so as to form a service capability that can be queried, talked about, and called, and to achieve efficient supply and demand matching, flow interconnection, and migration computing between data and applications in computing power, making computing power as convenient as water and electricity. The Plan proposes to establish a relatively complete system of computing power interconnection standards, identification, and rules by 2026. In terms of facility interconnection, promote new high-performance transmission protocols and enhance the level of network interconnection between computing power nodes; In terms of resource interoperability, we will establish a national, regional, and industry computing power interconnection platform, unify the aggregation of public computing power identification, and achieve the interconnection of public computing power resources among top computing power enterprises nationwide; In terms of business interoperability, we will promote the interoperability of various computing, storage, and network services to achieve cross entity, cross architecture, and cross regional computing power supply and demand scheduling; In terms of application scenarios, we carried out the pilot project of the Compute Power Internet Experimental Network to enable the industry to use computing in an inclusive way. By 2028, the standardization and interconnection of national public computing power will be basically achieved, gradually forming a computing power internet with intelligent perception, real-time discovery, and on-demand acquisition. To this end, the "Plan" clearly states that it will carry out five major actions: the action of building the foundation of computing power interconnection, the action of accelerating the interconnection of computing power facilities, the action of building the platform system of computing power interconnection, the action of innovating computing power business interconnection, and the action of leading computing power interconnection. Specifically, it includes: promoting technological breakthroughs and publishing a directory of computing power interconnection and interoperability technologies; Establish a standard system and promote collaborative innovation of technical standards through joint efforts of industry, academia, research, and application; Carry out market evaluation of computing power and establish an evaluation index system for computing power market; Build a national Internet service platform for computing power, and carry out the activity of "smooth connection" of computing power logo; Promote the interoperability of diverse and heterogeneous computing power services, achieve the scheduling of computing power tasks across thousands of cards, and facilitate the interoperability of various computing, storage, and network services. At the same time, the Plan will promote the interconnection of computing power to empower typical application scenarios: promoting the application of computing power interconnection in new business scenarios such as computing resource services, task scheduling, market transactions, and open source community operations; Promote the application of computing power interconnection in enterprise level scenarios such as artificial intelligence, scientific computing, intelligent manufacturing, remote healthcare, and video networking, as well as consumer level scenarios such as intelligent driving, cloud rendering, cloud computing, and cloud gaming; We will promote the integration and innovative applications of CALI Internet, energy Internet, industrial Internet, mobile Internet, etc. (New Society)
