At present, the textile industry has become an important sector for employment in Madagascar's manufacturing industry. As a Chinese enterprise that has been deeply rooted in Madagascar for 28 years, Inner Mongolia Luwang Cashmere Co., Ltd. has built 5 modern factories in the local area, covering a total area of 48000 square meters. The factory is equipped with 252 fully automatic computerized knitting machines and 3070 sets of supporting production equipment, with an annual output of 2 million pieces of various cashmere products and an annual export delivery value exceeding 100 million US dollars. At present, the total number of employees in the enterprise is 3320, with local employees accounting for over 99%. 50 year old production assistant Ribuharimanitra Niaina Rado has been working at Deer King for nearly 20 years. He said, "Since joining the company in 2006, I started by learning machine operation, from a trainee to an operator, and then to managing a team of 15 supervisors. This experience has taught me a lot. What makes me most proud is being able to introduce advanced technology to Madagascar.
