Specifically, in May, the total e-commerce logistics business volume index was 130.2 points, up 0.8 points from April. Looking at it by region, the total business volume index in all regions of the country has rebounded, with the western region showing the largest rebound of 1.6 points compared to the previous period. The year-on-year growth rate of total e-commerce logistics business volume has exceeded 30% for the first time this year. From the perspective of demand categories, the 'trade in' policy for consumer goods has driven strong demand for household appliances and communication equipment. ”Wu Jiang stated. According to the data of the State Administration of Taxation, during the May Day holiday, online Internet retail sales increased by 34.7% year on year. The sales revenue of household appliances and audio-visual equipment increased by 167.5% year-on-year, the sales revenue of communication equipment increased by 118% year-on-year, and the sales revenue of furniture increased by 1.7 times year-on-year. It is worth noting that the logistics efficiency index has exceeded 100 for the first time this year, and the turnover rate of personnel and inventory has steadily increased. As the mid year consumer promotion activity approaches, the willingness of enterprises to enhance their supply capacity has increased. The personnel index has increased by 0.2 points month on month, and the logistics efficiency index has risen to 101.2 points, breaking through 100 points for the first time this year. Meanwhile, with the further increase in demand for e-commerce logistics, the inventory turnover of enterprises has accelerated, and the inventory turnover index has increased by 0.2 points month on month. The fulfillment rate and satisfaction rate index have continued to rise, while the actual load rate and cost index remain unchanged.
