On June 11th, the 20th meeting of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Expanded Peacekeeping Expert Group opened in Nanjing, with over 80 representatives from 21 countries and international organizations including ASEAN member states, ASEAN dialogue countries, ASEAN observer states, and the ASEAN Secretariat in attendance. The theme of this conference is "Technology and Innovation: Strengthening Military Cooperation in Peacekeeping Operations", focusing on topics such as "Application of Unmanned and Anti Unmanned Technologies in Peacekeeping Operations", "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Peacekeeping Operations", and "Application of New Technologies and Equipment in Security Defense of Peacekeeping Operations". The aim is to explore the military application of emerging technologies in peacekeeping operations, deepen military mutual trust and security cooperation among regional countries, and continuously enhance peacekeeping capabilities. This conference is hosted by the Army Command Academy and will continue until the 14th. (New Society)
