On June 11th, the first stage power system test of the Lijian-2 liquid launch vehicle was conducted at the China Aerospace Liquid Power System Test Center, and the test mission was a complete success. This test is one of the major landmark ground tests in the development phase of the Lijian-2 project, which fully verifies the key technologies of Lijian-2 and lays the power foundation for launching the first sample of the light cargo spacecraft for the first flight, ensuring the reliability and stability of rocket flight. As the most complex and difficult ground test in the development process of carrier rockets, the power system test is an important foundation for ensuring the success of the rocket's maiden flight. During the test drive, the engine starts, swings, and shuts down according to the predetermined program, and the test time covers the flight mission profile. After the test drive, the inspection showed that the structure of the arrow was intact and the air tightness of the pressurized conveying system was good. The test drive verified the coordination and matching between the first stage booster delivery system and the engine system of the rocket, as well as the correctness of the interfaces of the power, structure, avionics, launch support and other systems. It achieved effective assessment of technologies such as propellant injection and release process, multi machine parallel cycle pre cooling, and dynamic thermal environment characteristics, marking a milestone achievement in the key technology of the first stage power system of the Lijian-2 liquid carrier rocket and entering the first flight sprint stage. It is worth mentioning that this test was conducted at the Zhongke Aerospace Liquid Power System Test Center located in Aotou Town, Conghua District, Guangzhou. The successful test marks the completion of the test center and the passing of the test assessment. As a leading and fully functional large-scale liquid power system testing base in China, the testing center has professional testing capabilities for 200 ton liquid rocket engines and comprehensive testing capabilities for 400 ton power systems to meet the needs of mass production and power research and development testing, which is crucial for the development of key technologies for commercial rocket recyclability. The experimental center is located in the core area of Conghua District, Guangzhou City and is listed as a key project in Guangdong Province in 2023. Tang Canrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Aotou Town, stated that in order to fully implement the layout requirements of Conghua District for the development of new quality productive forces in the aerospace economy, the whole town will make every effort to accelerate and increase efficiency in project construction, vigorously support and promote the healthy development of the private economy, and actively contribute to the development of the aerospace industry. It is reported that the technical preparation plant of Zhongke Aerospace Launch Site and the dedicated launch station for Lijian-2 liquid carrier rocket located in Jiuquan, Gansu will also be completed, accepted and put into use in the near future. This factory can achieve an integrated mode of "launch as soon as it leaves the factory", with features such as batch storage, fast response, and rolling backup, greatly reducing the preparation period for commercial rocket launches and fully ensuring efficient execution of launch tasks. After the official launch of the Lijian-2 large-scale liquid launch vehicle super factory, which is currently under construction, it will greatly promote the industrialization and large-scale production of Lijian-2, help to build a complete liquid rocket production chain and supply chain, and further reduce rocket launch costs.
