On the 16th, it was learned from the Zhuhai Border Inspection Station that the station has inspected over 100 million inbound and outbound personnel passing through ports such as Zhuhai Gongbei, Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, Hengqin, and Qingmao this year, 22 days earlier than last year. According to the relevant person in charge, cross-border exchanges between Hong Kong and Macao residents and mainland residents have been very frequent since the beginning of this year. Under the promotion of policies such as "two cars heading north" and "personal travel" from mainland China to Hong Kong and Macau, as well as "one visa, multiple trips" and "one week, one trip" to the south, coupled with customs clearance facilitation policies such as "no need to present documents", cross-border tourism consumption continues to heat up. The entry and exit volume of Hong Kong and Macau residents and mainland residents increased by 12% and 14% respectively year-on-year this year. In addition, with the continuous expansion of a series of measures to facilitate foreigners to come to China, such as unilateral visa free, the number of foreigners entering China from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao ports surged year-on-year. This year, Zhuhai Border Inspection Station has inspected 880000 people with overseas nationality, including 170000 visa free foreigners, an increase of 79% year-on-year. He Caigen, Director of the Border Inspection Department at Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, said, "The accelerated growth of passenger flow at ports reflects the accelerated development of the Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen Cooperation Zone. We will continue to promote the construction of convenient customs clearance at ports, optimize and improve the 'face recognition' clearance mode, and research and introduce more inspection methods that are conducive to the convenient flow of personnel, vehicles, and logistics
