After investigation, a mining company in Renshou County carried out mineral development on forest land in a town without obtaining forestry land approval procedures, continuously encroaching on forest land through the "unapproved occupation" method for a long time, resulting in the destruction of 97 acres of forest land and serious damage to the ecological environment. The Weinan Public Security Bureau in Shaanxi Province is investigating the case of Zhang and others illegally occupying agricultural land. According to the clues reported by the natural resources department, the public security organ of Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, detected a case of illegal occupation of agricultural land and arrested 7 suspect. After investigation, suspect Zhang and others illegally dumped more than 1000 vehicles of construction waste and stole more than 200 vehicles of sand and gravel in the cultivated land around the city without going through the land use approval procedures, resulting in the destruction of 36 mu of cultivated land. At the same time, it was found that the suspect Zhang Mouwu and others illegally mined sand and gravel on the same plot, causing serious damage to 5.64 mu of basic farmland.
