The signing ceremony of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's support for the 15th National Games, 12th Paralympic Games, and 9th Special Olympics Hong Kong Division was held at the Hong Kong SAR Government Headquarters on the 26th. The Hong Kong Jockey Club provided HKD 450 million (approximately RMB 411 million) in sponsorship to the 15th National Games and Paralympic Games Hong Kong Division. It is reported that the sponsorship will mainly be used for volunteer service programs, community and school promotion activities throughout Hong Kong, arrangements for disadvantaged groups and youth viewing experiences, etc. At the signing ceremony, the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Regina Ip, stated that the National Games is the largest and highest level comprehensive sports event in the country. In addition to competitive events, the Paralympic Games also showcase the integration of disabled and able-bodied individuals, encouraging them to actively participate in sports activities. Hosting the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Games is an important task for Hong Kong this year. We have been closely cooperating with Guangdong and Macao, and taking this opportunity to deepen sports exchanges and integrated development in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
