At the opening ceremony, the Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Jolin Tsai, said that the core of promoting digital education in Hong Kong is to enhance students' digital literacy and basic abilities. The Education Bureau will integrate digital technologies such as artificial intelligence into school curricula, cultivating students to use innovative technologies in learning and daily life in an ethical and effective manner. Li Hanxiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Education City, stated in his speech that during the Expo, Hong Kong Education City will sign memorandums of cooperation with several top technology companies, academic institutions, and business groups, focusing on jointly promoting digital education technology, promoting cross sector cooperation, and enhancing the application of artificial intelligence in education, injecting new impetus into Hong Kong's educational innovation.
