Swiss Federal President Keller Zutter met with the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland Qian Minjian in the Swiss capital Bern on the 2nd, saying that Switzerland is willing to further deepen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with China and promote the continued development of bilateral relations. Qian Minjian submitted his credentials to Keller Zuttel on the same day. Keller Zutter stated that Switzerland attaches great importance to its relationship with China and is willing to work together with China to maintain a good momentum of high-level exchanges, further deepen practical cooperation in various fields, strengthen communication and coordination in international and regional affairs, and promote the continued development of bilateral relations. Qian Minjian stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland, as well as the China Switzerland Cultural and Tourism Year. China is willing to take this as an opportunity to continuously enrich the connotation of the China Switzerland innovation strategic partnership with Switzerland, and promote the bilateral relationship to a new level.
