The first original immersive stage play by the China Science and Technology Museum, "The Light of China - The Candle of Civilization" (referred to as "The Candle of Civilization"), successfully completed its Xinjiang tour from July 1st to 4th, and its effects have attracted considerable attention. At the symposium, the creative team of the China Science and Technology Museum revealed the creative code of "The Candle of Civilization": using the record of the "Tianguan Guest Star" in the Northern Song Dynasty and the observation of the Crab Nebula by the modern high altitude cosmic ray observation station "Lasso" as the narrative core, through the cross temporal dialogue between the Song Dynasty water transport observatory and contemporary scientific equipment, a spiritual resonance between ancient astronomer Su Song and contemporary scientific researchers is constructed. The Chinese Coal Mine Art Troupe has solved the problem with an "immersive" approach: holographic projection restores the operation mechanism of the water transport instrument platform, and sound, light, and electricity simulate the stunning scene of capturing cosmic rays at the "Lasso" observation station. By creating an immersive experience design that integrates artistic techniques such as sound, light, electricity, dance, beauty, and chemistry, it creates an immersive scene of "people in the middle of the drama", allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the stories of scientists and appreciate the spirit of science while enjoying the audio-visual feast.
