Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft has been controlled to re-enter the atmosphere

The reporter learned from the China Manned Space Engineering Office that the Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft was controlled to re-enter the atmosphere at 6:42 am on the 9th. Most of the components of the spacecraft were burned and destroyed during re-entry into the atmosphere, and a small amount of debris fell into the designated safe sea area. The Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft was launched into orbit on November 15, 2024 at the Wenchang Space Launch Site, loaded with astronaut in orbit consumables, propellants, application testing devices, and other materials. On July 8, 2025, the Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft successfully withdrew from the space station complex and entered the independent flight phase. (New Society)
