Hong Kong industry explores leveraging supply chain service advantages to expand international markets

The second forum of the Hong Kong New Quality Productivity Forum series of professional seminars was held in Hong Kong on the afternoon of the 14th. The attendees had in-depth discussions on how Hong Kong can leverage its outstanding advantages in supply chain services and actively empower Hong Kong and mainland enterprises to expand into international markets. This forum features speeches and roundtable discussion sessions. Speakers from the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency, Bank of China Hong Kong, and the China National School of Administration (Hong Kong) Business Alumni Association shared their insights on topics such as supply chain services for international trade, leveraging the top ten advantages to support the construction of Hong Kong's commodity trading ecosystem, and an introduction to port community systems. The roundtable forum is themed "Supply Chain Collaboration, Transitioning from 'Fixed Mode' to 'Dynamic Adaptation'", inviting industry professionals to discuss supply chain related issues. The Chairman of the Chinese National School of Administration (Hong Kong) Business Students Association and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Economic Think Tank, Shi Zhu, stated that Hong Kong has outstanding advantages in supply chain management and services, and is a key node in the global supply chain. It is recommended that more mainland enterprises establish supply chain management centers or international headquarters in Hong Kong, or set up financial centers in Hong Kong to fully utilize Hong Kong's advantages. This forum is hosted by the Chinese National School of Administration (Hong Kong) Business Students Association and the Hong Kong Economic Think Tank. The attendees mainly come from political circles, supply chain related industry enterprises, relevant import and export chambers of commerce, Hong Kong Industry Business Association, etc., totaling about 150 people. The Hong Kong New Quality Productivity Forum series of professional seminars aims to promote the development of new quality productivity in various industries by organizing experts, scholars, and the industry to discuss the problems existing in Hong Kong's economy, finance, industry, and people's livelihood, and to find innovative and operable solutions for Hong Kong's economic transformation. The first forum event was held in Hong Kong on May 20th, with the theme of "Building a world-class capital market". (New Society)
