According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 5:34 am Beijing time on July 15, 2025, the Long March 7 Y10 carrier rocket carrying the Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft was ignited and launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. About 10 minutes later, the Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket and entered the predetermined orbit. Afterwards, the spacecraft's solar panels were smoothly deployed, and the launch was a complete success. Subsequently, the Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft will rendezvous and dock with the space station assembly in orbit. The Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft is loaded with astronaut in orbit consumables, propellants, application testing devices, and other materials. This mission is the fourth cargo supply mission of China's manned spaceflight project after entering the stage of space station application and development. It is the 36th launch mission since the project was approved and implemented, and also the 584th flight of the Long March series carrier rocket. (New Society)
