The 2nd Macau International Children's Film Festival and the 1st China (Macau) International Animation Film Festival held an award ceremony in Macau on the 14th. More than 200 works were gathered, and films from 19 countries and regions were selected for the competition unit selection. The first Animation Film Festival awarded 13 animation awards. More than 300 guests from home and abroad attended the ceremony, with nearly a thousand spectators in attendance. The Belgian French Latvian co production "Flow Cat's Fantasy Drift" won two awards: Best Animated Original Music and Best Animated Film; The Russian work 'Penguins' won the Best Animated Art Short Film award; The Best Animated Series was jointly awarded to three works: "The Story of Dunhuang," "The South China Sea Youth Huang Feihong," and "Ice Hockey Whirlwind; Ningde Mountain and Sea Adventure - Blue Ranch won the Best Animation Innovation Award of the Year; The 'Boonie Bears' series was awarded the Best Animation Industry Contribution Award, among others. The 2nd Macau International Children's Film Festival has selected thirteen main competition unit honorary awards. Nine excellent films, including "Reserve player substitute player" from Russia, "Let's be together again" from Malaysia, and "Running Deer", "Sunflower Squad", "Kick Out a Future", "Diving Boy", "Snail of Summer", "Coming of Age Ceremony", and "Snake Plan" from China, have won awards for Best Performance; Li Muzi was awarded as an excellent director for his performance in "Adult Ceremony"; The fantasy comedy "Zhu Tongtong Lost his Superpower in Third Grade" won awards such as Best Children's Feature Film. This year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Chinese cinema, and this event has set up seven honorary awards to pay tribute to the classics of the times. The animated characters Bald Qiang, Xiong Da, and Xiong Er won the Audience's Favorite Children's Character Award; Guo Guangping and Juanzi respectively won the Outstanding Actor and Actress Award for Children's Film for their performances in "Sunflower Squad" and "The Rest is Spring"; Little Bell "won the audience's favorite children's film award; The Chairman of the Jury of the Macau International Children's Film Festival, Tian Zhuangzhuang, was awarded the Special Contribution Award for Children's Film Development. This event is hosted by the China (Macau) International Children's Film Industry Development Promotion Association and Nanguang Cultural and Creative Industry Co., Ltd. The organizing committee stated that the event has strengthened the exchange and cooperation of children's films between Macau, mainland China, and overseas, helped promote the development of the children's film market and children's cultural industry, and facilitated the cultivation of film and television talents.
