Recently, Northeast Forestry University organized students majoring in forestry and forest conservation to come to the Liangshui National Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang Province for an internship in arborology. They will consolidate relevant theoretical knowledge in nature, understand the vegetation types in the Xiaoxing'an Mountains area, master plant collection standards and specimen preparation methods. The Liangshui National Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang Province is located in the southeastern part of the Xiaoxing'an Mountains, with a total area of 12133 hectares. It has scientific research stations such as the Forest Ecosystem Positioning Observation and Research Station, the Forest Genetics and Breeding Research Station, the Wildlife Ecology Research Station, the Experimental Nursery, and the Hydrological Monitoring Station. Every year, it receives thousands of teachers and students for scientific research, teaching, and internships. (New Society)
