China's first low altitude aircraft wind tunnel opened in Nansha, Guangzhou

On July 16, 2025, the first composite wind tunnel in China dedicated to the aerodynamic research of low altitude aircraft was officially completed and put into use at Guangdong Aerospace Science and Technology Research Institute. This wind tunnel fills the infrastructure gap for low altitude aircraft from laboratory research to real-world scenario verification, marking a new breakthrough in the construction of the low altitude economic basic research platform in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
