The reporter recently learned from the press conference of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship Competition that the competition is soliciting high-quality projects from five major tracks across the country, including artificial intelligence and robotics, integrated circuits and low altitude economy, medicine and health and biomanufacturing, food technology and modern agriculture, and modern services and cultural creativity. The registration for the competition will close on July 31st. The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship Competition, known as "Creating the Future in the Bay, Gathering Talents in Guangdong", has achieved deep linkage among the three regions for the first time, relying on the Greater Bay Area to create a "going global" bridgehead for entrepreneurial projects and establish a bridge and link towards the global market and internationalization. One of the features of this competition is the strong characteristics of Hong Kong and Macao. As of now, 2564 projects have been registered, including 356 projects in Hong Kong and Macau. Xie Zhongbao, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, stated that the purpose of this competition is to drive the construction of a modern industrial system through entrepreneurship and innovation, and to build a stage for young people from Hong Kong, Macao and mainland China to exchange, showcase, compete and develop together on the same stage, helping Hong Kong and Macao deeply integrate into the overall development of the country. Yun Dong, Deputy Director of the Employment Promotion Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said that by gathering industrial resources, scientific and technological innovation elements, and innovative vitality, a docking platform will be built for entrepreneurs to broaden communication channels and help them achieve high-quality entrepreneurship. The finals will be held in mid to late September in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The competition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Central Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government.
