On July 23rd, Zheng Zhajie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over a symposium for enterprises, focusing on the scientific formulation of the "15th Five Year Plan" and listening to opinions and suggestions on the coordinated development of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises. At the symposium, the leaders of participating companies introduced the current development status and challenges faced by their respective industries, as well as their opinions and suggestions on the development during the 15th Five Year Plan period. Zheng Zhajie had in-depth exchanges and interactions with everyone, emphasizing the importance of observing the overall trend and looking at the long term, strengthening development confidence, daring to explore and forge ahead, and promoting the complementary advantages and common development of state-owned and private enterprises. The participating enterprises discussed that the cooperation and development between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises in industrial chain, supply chain, equity investment, and other aspects is not only an objective need for enterprise development, but also a concrete manifestation of implementing national policy guidance. State owned enterprises and private enterprises each have their own advantages, and there is enormous potential for collaborative development. It is suggested that when formulating the 15th Five Year Plan, the country should highlight the improvement of policy mechanisms for the coordinated development of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, support and guide enterprises to expand cooperation space, and enhance overall development efficiency. At the same time, participating companies expressed their intention to establish and improve a modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, continuously strengthen enterprise management, orderly carry out market competition, learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses, deepen cooperation, and better achieve common development. Zheng Zhajie stated that as micro entities, enterprises have the most direct and sensitive perception of the macro economy. In the first half of the year, China's economy operated steadily with progress, which could not have been achieved without the hard work and active contributions of numerous enterprises. In the face of changes in the current internal and external situation, enterprises need to seize opportunities and development space for innovation breakthroughs, and make more contributions to promoting high-quality development. The opinions and suggestions of participating enterprises on future development have important reference value for the preparation of the 15th Five Year Plan. The National Development and Reform Commission will conscientiously implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adhere to and implement the "two unwaveringly", actively take practical and effective measures, improve the institutional mechanism for the coordinated development of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, promote the rectification of internal competition, expand industrial chain and supply chain cooperation, promote scientific and technological innovation, improve corporate governance and international business services, etc., promote the complementary advantages and common development of various ownership economies, further enhance economic development vitality and industrial competitiveness.
