The pass rate of routine monitoring of national agricultural product quality and safety in the first half of the year was 97.9%

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs that in the first half of this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs carried out two quarterly routine monitoring work on the quality and safety of national agricultural products. Vegetables, fruits, tea, livestock and poultry products, and aquatic products were randomly inspected, involving 15300 samples of 133 varieties in 5 categories, including 139 parameters, with a monitoring pass rate of 97.9%. It is reported that in the first half of this year, a total of 1992 vegetable, fruit, and tea production bases, 663 vegetable and fruit transport vehicles, 571 slaughterhouses, 347 breeding farms, 271 aquatic product transport vehicles, 736 aquatic product temporary ponds, and 2001 wholesale agricultural markets in 254 large and medium-sized cities in 31 provinces were sampled for routine monitoring. The monitoring results show that the qualification rates of vegetables, fruits, tea, livestock and poultry products, and aquatic products are 98%, 95.6%, 99.2%, 99.2%, and 96%, respectively. From the monitored varieties, the qualified rates of aquatic, edible fungi, Brassica, melons, leafy vegetables, stems, and eggplants in the sampled vegetables are 100%, 99.7%, 99.5%, 99%, 98.6%, 98.5%, and 98.5%, respectively. Among the sampled fruits, apples, pears, peaches, and grapes have a 100% pass rate, watermelons have a 98.7% pass rate, and oranges have a 97.7% pass rate. The qualified rates of black tea, oolong tea, and green tea in the sampled tea are 100%, 100%, and 99%, respectively. Among the sampled livestock and poultry products, the qualified rates of pig liver, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and eggs are 100%, 100%, 99.6%, 99.4%, 98.8%, and 98.7%, respectively. Among the sampled aquatic products, the qualification rates of shrimp, abalone, Dongfeng snail, and silver carp were 100%, while the qualification rates of bighead carp, tilapia, black croaker, Procambarus clarkii, crucian carp, and yellow croaker were 99.6%, 98.9%, 98.7%, 98.5%, 98.5%, and 98%, respectively.
