The China Russia "Maritime Joint-2025" joint exercise entered the stage of maritime exercises on the 3rd. Participating ships from both sides set sail from a military port in Vladivostok, Russia to conduct multiple exercises in the designated sea area. At around 5:00 am local time on the 3rd, with the cooperation of Russian tugboats and military port support personnel, the Chinese Navy's Westlake ship and the Russian "Belousov" lifeboat left the port first. Subsequently, the Chinese ships Shaoxing and Urumqi, the Russian large anti submarine ship "Admiral Trebutz", and the light escort ship "Loud" left the dock one after another. After departure, both sides quickly formed a formation in the order of mixed Chinese and Russian ships and sailed towards the mission area. Both sides' ships establish a communication link to mutually report information elements such as hydrology, meteorology, sea and air conditions in the sea area. Previously, the joint command center composed of a mix of China and Russia had conducted in-depth discussions based on the exercise plan and exercise plan organization chart, focusing on organizational forms, troop coordination, and other issues. They revised and improved the exercise course plan and safety plan, and organized professional exchanges around underwater attack and defense, submarine rescue, and other related topics.
