On August 1st, the academic quarterly magazine "Our America" of the Cuban Center for International Political Studies held a press conference on the theme of "Community of Shared Future for Mankind" in Havana, the capital. This special issue gathers research articles from over 20 scholars and diplomats from ancient China, including China's diplomatic philosophy and its practice in international affairs, as well as the history and current status of bilateral relations between China and Cuba. On August 1st, Jos é fina Vidal, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, delivered a speech at the thematic special issue press conference held in Havana. Jos é fina Vidal, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, said in her speech at the press conference that Cuba and China are about to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the release of the special issue is of great significance. She expressed her hope to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for ancient China and even for mankind through the release of the themed special issue, and called on the academic community to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation to jointly address global challenges. Ruvisle Gonzalez, a researcher at the Cuban Center for International Political Studies, stated in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that this thematic special issue combines theory and practice, and is the first time that "Our America" focuses entirely on a country, reflecting the high level of attention paid by Cuban academia to China's international influence. Chinese Ambassador to Cuba Hua Xin said at the press conference that the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind not only has theoretical guidance, but also gradually takes root through cooperation between China and countries such as Cuba. As the first country in the Western Hemisphere to jointly build a bilateral community with a shared future with China, we believe that Cuba will promote cooperation between China and Latin America, injecting Latin American strength into the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. The Cuban International Political Research Center is affiliated with the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is responsible for conducting research on international politics and international relations.
