According to data from the National IPv6 Development Monitoring Platform, as of June 2025, the number of active IPv6 users in China has reached 834 million, accounting for 75.29% of the total number of internet users in the country; The active connections of IPv6 terminals are about 1.839 billion, accounting for 75.18% of the total number of terminals; The proportion of IPv6 network traffic is 31.12%, with mobile network IPv6 traffic accounting for 66.00% and fixed network IPv6 traffic accounting for 28.32%. Recently, in order to implement the Key Points of Deeply Promoting IPv6 Scale Deployment and Application by 2025, the Expert Committee on IPv6 Scale Deployment and Application organized and carried out the IPv6 traffic test of 200 mobile Internet applications (APPs) with large number of users in China. Test data shows that the average IPv6 traffic proportion of 200 apps in a mobile network environment is 72.87%, of which 46 apps have an IPv6 traffic proportion of over 90%.
