The scenery is as beautiful as the rising sun." This finely crafted folk song is actually difficult to reproduce and sing. In contrast, the popular reading materials edited and published by Gu Jiegang's publishing company, such as "Anti Japanese War Songs" and "Anti Japanese War Drums," are deeply loved by the public and are printed repeatedly. Gu Jiegang is a major advocate of Chinese folklore and folk literature, and is well aware of the simple principle of mobilizing the masses through mass literature and art. Popular literature editing and publishing companies often adopt the strategy of "old bottles, new wine" to improve traditional literature and art, achieving good social results. For example, in the poem "Hometown Meets Hometown": "When a fellow villager meets a fellow villager, tears welled up in their eyes. You carry an old-fashioned gun, while I hold a box gun. Overthrow the traitorous Japanese and take back our hometown to spend time." This characteristic was soon noticed by other poets: the purpose of creating anti Japanese war songs is not to sing and sing for ourselves, but to mobilize the masses and the whole nation to resist.
