At 18:21 on August 4, China used the Long March 12 carrier rocket at the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site to successfully launch the 07 low orbit satellites of the satellite Internet. The satellites entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. The Long March 12 carrier rocket is a two-stage configuration carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is also China's first 4-meter single core stage carrier rocket. Its low Earth orbit carrying capacity is not less than 12 tons, and its 700 kilometer sun synchronous orbit carrying capacity is not less than 6 tons. It can be adapted to satellite fairings with a diameter of 5.2 meters or 4.2 meters according to mission requirements. Satellite Internet LEO 07 satellites were developed by Galaxy Space (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Galaxy Space"). This is the first time that a private commercial aerospace company has developed such satellites in bulk. According to Hu Zhao, the chief designer of the Galaxy Aerospace satellite model, the core standalone products of this group of satellites have all been independently developed. The satellite adopts a modular design for mass production, supporting parallel assembly, integration, and testing of multiple modules. Combined with robot cabin assembly technology, batch parallel testing can be achieved. This mission is the 587th launch of China's Long March series carrier rockets. (New Society)
