Publish the China Warehousing Index for July. Affected by hot and rainy weather, the demand for warehousing business is relatively weak, but the warehousing index has remained in the expansion range for nine consecutive months, and the warehousing industry as a whole has maintained a good operating trend. In July, China's warehousing index was 50.1%, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points from the previous month, indicating that the warehousing industry continues to expand, but the growth rate has slowed down. From the perspective of demand, the new order index is 50%, a decrease of 1.6 percentage points from last month, indicating that the growth rate of new orders has slowed down compared to the previous period due to weather factors. Among them, the demand for bulk commodity warehousing business has rebounded against the trend, especially the new order index of non-ferrous metals, chemical products and other varieties has increased significantly. In addition, weather factors constrain the efficiency of inbound and outbound operations, coupled with weak terminal demand, resulting in a significant slowdown in the turnover speed of goods. As a result, inventory levels have generally increased. From the perspective of employment absorption, the employee index of enterprises in July was 50.5%, unchanged from the previous month, and continued to operate in the expansion range. The business activity expectation index also operates in the expansion range, indicating that the enterprise maintains optimistic expectations for future market development. Experts say that with the end of the rainy season and the support of proactive macro policies such as continuously boosting consumption and optimizing the business environment, the warehousing industry is expected to further enhance its vitality and continue to maintain a stable and positive operating trend.
