Industry insiders analyze that the brain computer interface industry chain mainly includes three major links: upstream basic hardware, midstream brain computer interface systems, and downstream scenario applications. The relevant deployment has pointed out the direction for the innovation of brain computer interface products and the expansion of application scenarios. With the continuous expansion of brain computer application scenarios, its market demand will continue to increase. It is expected that by 2028, the market size of China's brain computer interface will exceed 6 billion yuan. The Opinion clarifies five key tasks, including strengthening the research and development of basic software and hardware, creating high-performance products, promoting the application of technological achievements, strengthening innovation entities, and enhancing industrial support capabilities, and refines 17 specific measures. For example, in strengthening the research and development of basic software and hardware, innovative brain signal sensing components are proposed to break through key brain computer chips and solidify the foundation of software tools. This includes developing high channel and high-speed brain signal acquisition chips, strengthening analog-to-digital conversion, channel management, and noise suppression, and enhancing brain signal acquisition and amplification capabilities. In terms of creating high-performance products, the Opinion proposes to accelerate breakthroughs in the research and development of implantable devices, promote mass production iteration of non implantable devices, and develop auxiliary devices. This includes the development of high-precision surgical robots for implanting brain computer interfaces, breakthroughs in sub micron level precision control and dynamic adjustment technology, and the enhancement of regional accurate real-time imaging and 3D reconstruction capabilities. At the same time, the Opinion also clarifies three key projects: core software and hardware strong foundation project, complete machine quality project, and application expansion project.
