In the first seven months, automobile production and sales achieved double-digit year-on-year growth. From January to July, the production and sales of automobiles reached 18.235 million and 18.269 million respectively, an increase of 12.7% and 12% year-on-year, respectively. The growth rate of production and sales increased by 0.2 and 0.6 percentage points respectively compared to January to June. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 8.232 million and 8.22 million respectively, an increase of 39.2% and 38.5% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 45% of the total sales of new cars.
