Xin Guanglong, Director of the Safety Foundation Department of the National Mining Safety Supervision Bureau, introduced that the new version of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" includes the identification of coal mine disaster levels such as gas level, rockburst and coal seam spontaneous combustion tendency, coal dust explosiveness, and open-pit coal mine landslide danger in the scope of safety testing and inspection. At the same time, it requires identification institutions to have the qualification conditions stipulated by the state. In terms of water hazard area management, the new version of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" has added relevant provisions for the prevention and control of water in coal mines, clarifying how to carry out safety demonstration and effectiveness verification of bottom pressure water after ground advanced area management.
