From August 29th to September 1st, the South African China themed book exhibition with the theme of "Passing on the Fragrance of Books to Promote Friendship and Connecting China and Africa" was held in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa. This book exhibition is jointly organized by China International Book Trade Group, South African Independent Media Group, South African e-commerce platform Loot, and the International Office of the Western Cape University in South Africa.
