The expected scale of this bond issuance is 1 billion yuan, and the bond variety is green bonds with the theme of addressing climate change, which are issued to professional investors. The Macau Monetary Authority welcomes Shenzhen's first issuance of local government bonds in Macau. This issuance is another important measure to accelerate the development of Macao bond market, following the issuance of treasury bond by the Ministry of Finance in Macao and the issuance of local government bonds by Guangdong Province in Macao. It fully reflects the high attention and strong support of the central government and Shenzhen City to the development of modern financial industry and the promotion of moderate economic diversification in Macao.
