When Chinese football first appeared in front of the world in the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, the people of the whole country were elated, but the wish of "scoring a goal, scoring a point and winning a game" failed to be realized, and people left their hope in the next session. However, this wait is 20 years, or even 30 years. In March 2015, the State Council released the "Overall Plan for the Reform and Development of Chinese Football". The plan covers all aspects of Chinese football, among which the fourth article "Reforming and Promoting the Development of Campus Football" puts forward clear requirements for the development of campus football, clarifying the strategic significance of football at the national level, and its height and intensity are unprecedented. Since its comprehensive launch in primary and secondary schools across the country in 2015, campus football has achieved remarkable results in imparting football knowledge, training football teachers, building competition systems, promoting football culture, cultivating reserve talents, and building football fields. In particular, significant breakthroughs have been made in expanding the football population and cultivating football reserve talents. In the first five years of campus football nationwide, China established 27059 football themed schools, with 12.55 million students participating in primary, junior high, high school, and university level leagues. More than 300 students went to Europe for training and competitions, and over 700 students were awarded the title of national first-class athletes. These have played an important role in improving the shortage of youth football population in China. The focus of campus football construction should be understood as two aspects: firstly, popularizing football, attracting young students to actively participate in football, improving their physical fitness, and cultivating their habits of exercising; The second is to cultivate football reserve talents, promote the improvement of football sports level, and on the basis of popularization, carry out elite training of youth football. The achievement of the above goals cannot be separated from the construction of a high-level football teacher team and the establishment of a systematic and stable competition system. The fourth level campus football league is already very common, but the organizational form of the competition needs to be further optimized, such as the timing and format of the matches. Nowadays, most campus football matches are held during winter and summer vacations, with a tournament system and concentrated in a certain city, which often leads to a few spectators. Suggest changing the competition format to a home and away format, and scheduling the matches on non weekends, non winter and summer vacations. The change in competition format can allow students of our school to see their school team's matches up close, enhance the sense of honor of players and spectators, and greatly improve the football atmosphere. The construction of campus football has been carried out for ten years, with outstanding achievements, as well as experiences and shortcomings worth summarizing. Suggest further improving the teaching level of football teachers and achieving results in one football class per week; Organizing the class league and having the homeroom teacher as the team leader lead the children to actively participate can increase class cohesion; Organize a football culture festival to cultivate students' imagination, organizational skills, communication abilities, etc; Smooth the pathway for further education, strive to solve the problem of "retiring at the age of 12", and strive to gain more support from parents for campus football.
