The reporter learned from the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government that in the new round of "Technology Enterprise Certification Program" applications, 11 technology enterprises have been certified, including 1 potential technology enterprise upgraded to a key technology enterprise and 10 new potential technology enterprises added. It is reported that the "Technology Enterprise Certification Program" will be launched in April 2023, and applications will be accepted in May and November each year. Up to now, five rounds of applications have been accepted, and a total of 51 Macau enterprises have obtained technology enterprise certification, including 7 key technology enterprises, 1 growth technology enterprise, and 43 potential technology enterprises. The business scope covers multiple fields such as integrated circuits, information technology, traditional Chinese medicine, new materials, and biotechnology. The Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government pointed out that the "Technology Enterprise Certification Program" aims to identify locally qualified technology enterprises through an evaluation system, and promote business expansion by providing them with different levels of official certification. At the same time, we will cooperate with various types of support measures provided by the SAR government to assist in the development of enterprises.
