This morning, the 3rd Beijing Tianjin Hebei Collaborative Development Rule of Law Forum with the theme of "Collaborative Innovation and Practice Exploration of Rule of Law in Beijing Tianjin Hebei" was held in Beijing. Representatives from the legal community in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region closely discussed the key and difficult issues in the process of coordinated development of the region, providing theoretical support and legal guarantees for further promoting the coordinated development and legal construction of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Pan Yiqin, member of the Party Group and Vice President of the China Law Society, Tan Xuxiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and President of the Beijing Law Society, attended the forum and delivered speeches. He Bingqun, Vice Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Executive Vice President of the Provincial Law Society, also attended the forum. This forum is jointly hosted by the Law Societies of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei provinces, and organized by the Beijing Law Society. At the forum, Mo Jihong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of the Institute of Law, and dean of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a keynote speech titled "Promoting the Construction of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Collaborative Legislation System in an Orderly and Scientific Manner with the Spirit of Reform and Innovation". He deeply analyzed the achievements, roles, and problems of the current Beijing Tianjin Hebei collaborative legislation, proposed a reform and innovation path to build a scientific legislative system, and aimed to promote the scientific and orderly development of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei collaborative legislation system, providing solid legal support for regional collaborative development. Representatives from the legal community in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region conducted discussions on 10 sub topics, including "Research on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Judiciary, and Compliance Issues in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Coordinated Development Region", "Research on the Rule of Law Guarantee of Grassroots Social Governance in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Coordinated Development Region", and "Research on the Construction of a Rule of Law Business Environment in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Coordinated Development Region". At this forum, 29 award-winning paper authors and representatives of excellent organizational award units were also awarded honorary certificates. It is reported that this forum is open to legal professionals from the three provinces of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei to solicit papers. Focusing on the key and difficult issues of legal protection for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, a total of 472 papers were received, and 60 award-winning papers were selected.
