During the National Day and Mid Autumn Festival holidays, the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge welcomed a surge in cross-border travel. According to data from the Zhuhai Border Inspection Station and the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station, from October 1st to 4th, the passenger flow through the port reached 426000, a year-on-year increase of 19.4%, and the vehicle flow reached 89800, a year-on-year increase of over 23.4%. Among them, there were 56300 entries and exits of "Hong Kong cars heading north" and "Australian cars heading north", a year-on-year increase of 30%. (New Society)
