On the early morning of October 10th, the Guangzhongjiang Extra Large Bridge over the Guangzhou Zhuhai Freight Railway, which was constructed by China Railway 25th Bureau, successfully rotated. The rotating bridge weighs 11216 tons and has a span of 160 meters. It is located in the key control project of the Shenjiang Railway, the Guangzhongjiang Extra Large Bridge, spanning the Tiger Leaping Gate Bridge section. Shenjiang Railway is an important part of the coastal corridor of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. The line starts from Shenzhen Xili Station, with a total length of 116 kilometers. The main line spans the mouth of the the Pearl River and connects five cities, including Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. After the completion of the project, Shenzhen and Jiangmen can be connected within one hour. (New Society)
