As the first important basic law to standardize the work of integrity and self-discipline of the whole party that adheres to positive advocacy and faces all party members since our party came into power, the Code of Integrity and Self discipline of the CPC focuses on the theme of integrity and self-discipline, and puts forward "four musts" and "eight norms" to the whole party, so as to set a high standard for all party members and party leaders to be visible, tangible and accessible. Article 8 of the Code puts forward higher requirements for party leaders from the perspective of strengthening family education and family style construction. The family tradition of leading cadres is not a personal matter or a private matter, but an important manifestation of their work style. 'Clean and honest family' requires Party members and leading cadres to strictly demand that their relatives and children live a good family relationship, educate them to establish a good concept of abiding by laws and regulations, working hard and simple, and self-reliance, understand that forgetting justice for profit and taking bribes and bending the law are unethical things, and set an example for the whole society. Consciously accepting supervision and managing relatives and staff around them is an important responsibility of leaders and cadres. In terms of cultivating a good family tradition, revolutionary predecessors have vividly demonstrated what it means to be honest and upright in family governance through their actions of being strict with themselves and governing their families, setting an example for us. A family that accumulates good deeds will surely have surplus celebrations; A family that accumulates bad karma will inevitably suffer. Just like the construction of family upbringing and family culture, demanding higher standards from family members and children can make a happy home, while demanding lower standards may ruin a good family. From the corruption cases investigated in recent years, it can be seen that the deterioration of family ethics is often an important reason for leading cadres to commit serious violations of discipline and law. Xu Changyuan, former secretary of the Party Working Committee and former director of the Jinzhou New District Management Committee in Dalian, Liaoning Province, distorted his mother's instructions to take care of his younger siblings into engaging in profit transfer, and used his power to help the family business amass wealth crazily. In the end, all six siblings of the Xu family were sentenced, including Xu Changyuan and his fourth brother Xu Changwei, who were sentenced to life imprisonment, deprived of political rights for life, and had their personal property confiscated.
