As of now, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have jointly released 262 "Bay Area Standards" covering 36 areas including transportation, water conservancy, traditional Chinese medicine, green ecology, and elderly care services. It is reported that the "Bay Area Standards" announced this time will help the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Games in terms of Loong Boat competition and volunteer services. For example, the standard "Regulations on the Organization and Management of Folk Loong Boat Competitions" unifies the competition rules, safety access and emergency procedures, so that thousands of traditional Loong Boat scattered in towns and rivers can connect with the whole transport standard by "one touch". The standard "General Specification for Volunteer Service in Large scale Activities" comprehensively regulates the appearance of volunteers from "head" to "feet", the details from "greeting" to "service", and the "age friendly" scenes from ordinary audiences to special groups. The "Bay Area Standards" are an important carrier for the connection of rules and mechanisms in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. In April 2023, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Industry and Trade Department, and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government's Economic and Technological Development Bureau jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation on promoting the development of standards in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, establishing a cooperation mechanism for the "Bay Area Standards" among the three regions.
