At the 77th Frankfurt Book Fair held from October 14th to 19th, Chinese books attracted the attention of many visitors with their constantly expanding publishing content and innovative forms of expression: from traditional philosophy and historical documents to modern development concepts, from Chinese style comics to discussions with young writers, presenting a three-dimensional and rich China. This book fair showcased a large number of translated books focusing on excellent traditional Chinese culture, including the Spanish version of "The Wisdom of Taoism: The Wisdom of Laozi" and the German version of "Research on Tao Yuanming", showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese philosophical thought. Arnold Berger, CEO of Peter Lang Publishing Group, said, "During the process of translating 'A Study of Tao Yuanming', I felt that the book not only carries literary heritage, but also an invitation for communication and resonance. 'At the exhibition site, a set of carefully selected and beautifully printed' Four Ming Library 'was occasionally read by foreign participating publishers and audiences. According to Ningbo Publishing House, the "Siming Library" has collected a total of 342 types of literature, covering the classics, history, literature, and collections of various dynasties in Ningbo. It is the culmination of Ningbo's historical literature collection. Chinese local culture and regional cultural books are receiving attention for their profound historical heritage and regional characteristics. Around the theme of contemporary China's development practice, China Social Sciences Press and publishing institutions such as Taylor Francis Publishing Group in the UK held the launch ceremony for four English versions of new books, including "New Quality Productivity" and "China's Road and Its Origin Significance". Jeremy North, President of Global Book Business at Taylor Francis Publishing Group, stated that promoting a deeper understanding of contemporary China's development process and its profound theoretical innovations in the global academic community is a shared mission of both parties. At the book fair, the original Chinese style comic "Canglan Jue" was well received by the young participants. Kobayashi Comics, also an original Chinese manga, made its debut at the Frankfurt Book Fair this year. German high school student Lixiane Schaller and Kobayashi manga author Lin Dihuan worked together on site to create a vivid ink wash manga. Schaller exclaimed, "Chinese culture and art are far more profound and extensive than many people know. I recommend experiencing Chinese culture to everyone." The book fair also held a dialogue event on "How Chinese young writers are seen by the world," where Liu Zichao, a young writer born in the 1980s who has published multiple documentary travel works, spoke in English with German sinologists, translators, and audiences. German translator Eva Shestak, who has translated the entire novel 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms', was attracted by the conversation and quietly listened on site. She told Xinhua News Agency reporters that these innovative activities can enable more German publishers, translators, and readers to learn about the works of contemporary Chinese writers. For a long time, I have been paying attention to China and its achievements in various fields, and have deepened my understanding by reading books on history, philosophy, psychology, diplomatic relations, and more. ”After visiting the China exhibition area of the Frankfurt Book Fair, Recep Hida, the president of Albania's Van Noli Publishing House, said that the rich and diverse Chinese books are presenting a panoramic view of China to global readers.
