The teaching mode of group training is constantly iterating. In September 2024, a seminar on innovative teaching modes for combat command in military academies was held, featuring six basic teaching modes: "inspiring inquiry based theoretical learning, immersive interactive case studies, virtual real combination skills training, step-by-step detailed training scenario assignments, adversarial research based comprehensive exercises, and comprehensive application based assessment and evaluation". The classic battle case research course at the National Defense University has changed the traditional teaching mode of instructor lectures and student evaluations. It flexibly adopts methods such as scenario reproduction and role substitution, allowing students to immerse themselves in the battlefield as battle case commanders for in-depth analysis; The "Armored Infantry Squad Collaborative Shooting" skill training course at the Army Infantry Academy combines practical and simulation methods to create extreme and high-risk environments and increase training intensity. After the implementation of the six basic modes of combat command teaching in military academies, a number of innovative teaching achievements have emerged. The teaching staff for war education is constantly growing. This summer, Cao Suping, a teacher at the Rocket Force Command Academy, participated deeply in a training activity as an expert in the directing department. After returning to school, she incorporated the latest gains from the performance training into the lesson plan and brought them into the classroom. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of faculty members from universities like Cao Suping who bring teaching and research projects to the military, participate in major training missions, verify theories, discover problems, and seek answers in practice. They also feed back classroom teaching with military combat cases, practical experience, and real-life resources. At the same time, third-generation pilots became visiting professors at military academies, doctoral captains became military academy instructors, and military academy instructors and military cadres embarked on a two-way career path. The supporting resource conditions are constantly upgrading. In recent years, military academies have deployed outstanding talents, high-quality resources, and advanced equipment to the front line of teaching, focusing on the theme of teaching, warfare, research, learning, warfare, and training. They have continuously improved their support standards, innovated support models, optimized resource allocation, and systematically promoted the construction of teaching facilities, training venues, and information network platforms to ensure the high-quality development of education in colleges and universities with modern educational conditions.
