The 2025 Bauhinia Culture Forum will be held in Hong Kong on the 23rd, with about 350 participants from the fields of government, business, academia, financial technology, culture and media, both domestically and internationally. The theme of this forum is "Deepening International Exchange and Cooperation, Integrating into the National Development Situation", exploring Hong Kong's development opportunities and global role in the new era, demonstrating Hong Kong's determination and confidence in integrating into the national development situation, establishing a good international image of Hong Kong's openness, freedom, inclusiveness, and security, and attracting more enterprises, funds, and talents to gather in Hong Kong. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, stated in her speech that under the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, Hong Kong enjoys a dual advantage of national and international opportunities. Hong Kong should fully leverage its advantages, continue to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, actively expand its international "circle of friends", and make every effort to become a "super contact person" and "super value-added person", becoming a two-way springboard for mainland enterprises to "go global" and overseas enterprises to "bring in". He said that the SAR government will actively strive to attract more international organizations to settle in Hong Kong. We will soon establish an economic and trade office in Kuala Lumpur to deepen our economic and trade promotion in ASEAN and neighboring countries, and expand the coverage of the economic and trade office to Latin America and Central Asia. We will accelerate the expansion of our aviation network, actively attract airlines to operate more flights, strive to establish more new civil aviation agreements and expand air rights, and prioritize potential markets such as South America, Central Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
